Why Lighthouse Groups?

We are a church of "lighthouses." Lighthouses are the small group ministry of Acts Fellowship Church and it serves as the backbone of our ministry. It encompasses two primary goals:

1) Just as the lighthouses help guide vessels safely through the waters, our lighthouse ministry seeks to help followers of Christ navigate through life in Christ Jesus. We focus on the strong teachings of the Word of God because only the Word of God can guide and transform our hearts. We seek to love one another and support one another through prayer and other ways to become all that God intended us to be.

2) Just as the lighthouses serve to warn vessels of various hazards that might be lurking, our lighthouse ministry seeks to reach out to the unchurched and the unsaved so that we can warn them about the pending wrath of God because of sin. We want to share the gospel and share it well. We want people to understand that hell awaits for all those who don't know Jesus Christ.

Our vision and desire is to see lighthouses pop up all throughout the greater Austin area to shine for Christ where we get the opportunity and privilege of touching lives and impacting eternity to the glory of God.
