I received my bachelors degree from UT Austin and attended Acts Fellowship Church throughout my undergraduate years, so it gives me great joy to be back in Austin now as a minister at AFC! The city of Austin is vibrant and bright in many ways, and dark and shadowy in other ways. I look forward with great anticipation when I consider how God will continue his good work in the members of AFC to make us a steady light in this city and the various places God sends us, both near and far. My confidence comes from the fact that God is faithful and always at work in us and through us, and sometimes in spite of us. In this way, I can rest in the river of God’s grace and goodness as I look for ways to love God, love others and love the lost.
We live in an age where Christianity is more of a “religion” than a “relationship” with the God of the Universe. Here at Acts Fellowship Church, our vision is to lead people to a deeper passion and love for God. We also strive to be “real” with one another in establishing authentic relationships. It does not just stop there. Compelled by God’s love and grace, we also exist to make God known to all those around us.
